I Never Doubted It

A new twist is in this drawing, the are not black lines! Just the colors of every detail. I was tired of drawing black lines so I wanted to do something new! And I liked it!

So to the story. As you know Marge had moved to New York with her new stepdad and mom after Marges dad Clancy died. Her mom remarried and she died after her new husband had been lying with everything he had said and told about him. After that Marge decided to leave New York and move back to Sprinfield and to her big love, Homer. She was pregnant to in her 8 month with Homer`s child but hadn`t had any contact with Homer since she left 8 months ago.

Now she was in the hospital after she fainted infront of Homers front porch. She was exhausted after the trip and hadn`t had food or water in some days. Homer and his dad had brought her to the hospital and now she was waiting for Homer to wake up. But a thought hit her. Maybe Homer had a girlfriend?! If that was true it wasn`t strange, he was a handsome, loving and kind man that many womans wanted. She looked at him. He hadn`t waked up yet and to think that he maybe had a other woman in his life was devestating to think about. What would she do with the baby now? Adopt it away? No, never! He had stayed beside her all the night so he had to have feelings for her still. She had for him and she want to be with him forever.

She squeeszed his hand. He bagan to open his eyes slowly and looked at her direction. She smiled at him and he jumped fast up in the chair and smiled to her.  

Homer: "Hi. You are awake. How to you feel?" He took both of her hands.

Marge: "Hey. I`m great now that I`m with you again." She looked at him. He looked concerned about something.

Homer: "It is wonderful to have you back Marge. I shall go to fetch the doctor."

Marge: "No, don`t go! I have to tell you something."

Homer: "You need to be checked if something is wrong with your baby. Maybe I shall call your husband?" It stung in Homers heart when he said the word husband.

Marge looked at him and she saw that he wasn`t comfortable talking about her "husband" She laughed and smiled to him.

Marge: "I`m not married, Homer." Homer looked quick up to her.

Homer: "What? Your aint?" A big smile come on his face.

Marge: "No, I`m not. And I never got married." Marge told the whole story with her stepdad, mom and all the lies her stepdad had told.

Homer looked at her and got shocked to hear the story Marge told. But what about the baby?

Marge: "The baby is yours, Homer. We are going to have a baby togheter!" Some tears come to her eyes. Finally she could say it to him!

Homer: "What?! Mine!? Oh, that`s wonderful Marge! Are you sure? I`m going to be a daddy?" He smiled with his whole face and some tears come to his eyes. This was a dream come true! A baby with the woman he loved most in the world.

Marge: "Yes!" She took his hand to her belly. "It`s a boy!"

Homer: "A boy.... Our dream is coming true Marge!" He looked at her with a loving face and bent forward to give her a kiss. To kiss her again was like heaven. It had been 8 months since last time! Marge couldn`t be more happier to see how he reacted when she told him. Marge felt the same about the kiss and now everything was going to be fine.

Marge: "I hope you are happy, Homer?" He still had his hand on her belly. She layed her on his.

Homer: "I`m so happy! You are amazing, Marge. You still carried this baby still all the terrible things you have been through."

Marge: "This baby gave me hope to be togheter with you again. But.. Do you have.. I mean.. a girlfriend?" She looked at him with a concerned face. Her sparkle in her eyes faded while she looked at his eyes.

Homer: "No, I haven`t been with a girl since you lefted Springfield. I hoped one day you would come back to me and I`m sorry that I haven`t taked any contact with you or have visited you. I thought you had gotten married and lived with your husband. But I`m glad you are not married! You are the girl I want to be with and want to spend the rest of my life with!" He took his hand in his pocket and took out a little box. Marge understanded right away what he was going to do. She gasped and a tear fell down her cheek. Homer opened the box and a big diamondring blinked at her. She took her hand up to her lips and her hand was shaking. This was something she had hoped for a long time!

Homer: "Marge, the first day I saw you I didn`t want to be with anyone else. I have not much to affor you except all my love. I promise that I will never let you go again and that we will be togheter, always. Will you marry me?"

Marge: "Oh, Homer… I feel the same!  Yes, of course will I marry you!" Homer smiled and tooked her hand gently and putted the ring on her finger.

Homer: “Thank you for saying yes! I love you so much!” He leaned towards her hand took her face in his hands and gave her a gentle kiss. Marge took around his neck and gently kissed him back.

In the meantime Homers dad Abe had come to the hospital and was going to visit Marge and Homer to see if both of them was okay. When he walked down the hall he heard Marges voice say yes and he had a little idea what had happend. He come to the door and went inside in the right time to see both of them kiss eachother. He saw the ring on Marges finger and smiled. Everything turned out well afterall. Abe said to himself: “I never doubted it.”
